The Tabarca’s marine reserve is as a whole, a trip highly gratifying, even in autumn, winter or spring. However, in summer,it is highly used by the tourism and then it changes, in case that we expect to find some species and peace. On the other hand, if we want to know its seafloor we can enjoy it all year long.

The time that we can spend in this island, will always depend on what we expect. Nevertheless, in a journey, we can make a geographic and accurate trip as well as watching the possible species that it houses.
In the bird’s migration, the naturist’s attention is focus on the salsola grassland which is the bulk of the plant coating. Moreover, at any season of the year, this island always allows to sight very good observations but it is in autumn/winter when from the Falco’s tip, one of the island extremes, where we will be able to make out on the horizon the pardelas, alcas and other sea birds in its trips or also the big cormorant, the charranes or seagulls sheltered in the islets.

The rest of the species, the limícolas, are easy to see as they are very common in any of the quiet and little coves of the island. Neither is it unusual to find zarapito trinados or vuelve piedras, just like lonely chorlitejos patínegros or little flocks of Correlimos común or Correlimos menudo.

Tabarca’s countryside is an extension with a limited human living. There are a little graveyard and a defensive tower which give to the island landscape a clean appearance. At sunset, the alcaravanes make this area the perfect place to finalize a good countryside journey, and humble, they match with the landscape and the island inhabitants.
